Arena, the contract of Laure Manaudou

Arena, following the latest news published in the media, states: “the attorney of Laure has confirmed yesterday what the company has firmly and transparently stated since the beginning, that the contract with Ms. Manaudou is valid and binding”

Arena also points out that the contract clearly and unequivocally reflects the free and mutual will and consent of both parties.

Arena must however re-state its greatest disappointment and regret for the media storm, totally based on false and groundless declarations, that has caused very significant damage to the image and the commercial reputation of the company.

In light of the recent developments, Arena intends to take this opportunity to clarify once and for all its main and exclusive objectives:
• support with all means the worldwide swimming sport and its key players;
• provide all the athletes at worldwide level with its cutting-age technology in order to enhance their talent and performances;
• continue supporting and sustaining the greatest champion Laure Manaudou.

For those who, unjustly and groundlessly, doubted of the Arena ethic is now time for an in depth re-thinking. In fact, for Arena, the tranquillity and preparation of the athletes are of the utmost importance and come prior to any other business speculation, with the consequence that Arena is ready to desist from taking legal actions against Mr. Manaudou, provided that personal and public excuses are published in the most important media, so as to definitively repair the unlawful damages suffered.

Arena is willing, as always, to meet at any time Laure to jointly discuss her future programs.
